 Good Day!

We are pleased to announce the Official inception of the Seven Sisters support network for women. Based in Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham, N17. The group's primary focus is on providing advice, support and advocacy for women of Caribbean and African decent and families of those living, working and connected to the area in the London Borough of Harringey.

Founded by Amae Chi aka Ms MAE, Creative Consultant at MAE Creative Consulting, in May 2022. Who spent most of her formative years, went to school and lived in Tottenham N17, as well as other parts of the Borough. The group was initially started informally by a group of young women, in Kingston, Jamaica. When Ms MAE first travelled  from Seven Sisters, Tottenham to Kingston, Jamaica in 2005/6.

The main focus and function of this Voluntary support group is to provide advice, information and support for single females who may not have any family or other person's to assist them. Recognizing that there are many vulnerable females, who may have issues even within their own family, with their domestic partner or other community based conflict. That may need support from outside agencies that is not currently available to them.

Welcome to 7 Sisters

Seven Sisters organisation is a global group setup to support sisterhood, development of female and feminine centered issues that are imperitive to the upliftment of women and families. The idea sprung from an analysis whilst sitting in an informal meeting with a group of young women in Kingston, Jamaica. This was sometime back maybe 10 or 12 years. Things were very different then, still we realized even then that as females we needed more support I was working on my own mostly as a Female Entrepreneur, an expatriate, in Jamaica trying to adjust to a different business culture, climate and struggling as a Female, to be respected in the business, especially Music industry where sexism and stereotypes are everyday. The idea is to formalize and setup a committee that is able to advocate for issues that are of concern to us as business women, consumers, parents and citizens in general. Send an email to MsAMediaE@gmail.com to register your interest and find out more..... 1 ❤️ .

Seven Sisters family relations

Good Day to all Sisters and Brothers and supporters of the 7 Sisters project, network and support group! During the intial research that is part of the process of officially establishing this as a voluntary group. There are many of us who have issues caused by families seperated by being overseas. Families torn apart by the current bureaucracy. Long distance relationships have always been trying on all person's involved. The children miss out on the much needed guidance of their parents. Parents themselves who are heart broken or stressed out trying to fulfill their role as parent whilst the other partner or rest of the family is in another country, another time zone entirely. May not always be able to provide the mental, or emotional support to their children that they need, even though they may try as best as they can. Although the groups primary focus is on sin...
